Terms of Use · AloTR
Last Updated: 2026/10/7
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the AloTR mobile application (“AloTR”), provided by Tunahan Aktay (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use AloTR.
2. What AloTR Is, and What It Is Not
AloTR is a directory of phone numbers in Türkiye: emergency and public service lines, outage lines, and the customer service lines of banks, operators and other companies. Tapping a number opens your iPhone’s Phone app to call it.
- Not an emergency service: AloTR does not connect you to emergency responders itself. Every call goes through your iPhone’s Phone app and your carrier, and depends on your phone, its signal and your carrier’s service. In an emergency, call 112 directly.
- Not affiliated: AloTR is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, emergency service or company listed in it. Names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each line.
- Numbers change: Institutions and companies change their numbers and voice menus. We update the directory with app updates, but we do not guarantee that every number, menu path or description is correct or current at the time you call.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use AloTR.
4. License Grant
You may use the app for your personal use, under Apple’s Standard EULA described below. All rights not expressly granted remain with us and our licensors. These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict about your license to use the app, Apple’s agreement applies.
5. Calls, Menu Shortcuts and Emergency Tools
- Call charges: Your carrier may charge for calls you place through AloTR, under your own tariff. We do not charge for calls and do not receive any part of a call charge.
- Menu shortcuts: For some lines, AloTR adds keypresses to a call to move through the line’s voice menu. A changed menu can lead to a different option than intended. You stay in control of the call and can hang up at any time.
- Emergency tools: The Emergency tab offers a siren that sounds while you hold it and a flashlight that flashes an SOS signal. They are aids, not a replacement for calling 112, and we do not guarantee that they will be seen or heard.
- Misuse: Do not use AloTR to make false or prank calls to emergency or public service lines. Such calls are illegal in Türkiye and take help away from people who need it.
6. Subscriptions & Purchases
- Subscriptions: AloTR offers an optional Premium subscription that unlocks every category of the directory, unlimited saved lines and an ad-free app.
- In-App Purchases: Subscriptions are sold through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple handles all payments, taxes, and billing.
- Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds: Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law.
- Reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit AloTR’s technology.
- Use bots or scripts to abuse the app or the lines it lists.
- Copy, resell or republish AloTR’s directory as your own product.
8. Intellectual Property
All content in the AloTR app (logos, code, UI, designs, text, and graphics) belongs to us or our licensors, except the names and logos of the institutions and companies listed, which belong to their owners. You may not use our content for commercial purposes without permission. Any feedback or suggestions you provide can be used freely by us without compensation.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. It forms part of these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
AloTR is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the app, any number in it, or any call placed through it will work at a given time. Features may change. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including damages from a number that was wrong, changed or unreachable, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for AloTR in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
- By You: You may stop using AloTR at any time.
- By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.
- Effect: Certain clauses (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Liability) will survive termination.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. You agree to resolve any disputes through the courts of Turkey, unless local consumer protection laws offer you additional rights.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. We will announce significant changes on this page or in the app before they take effect, and update the date above.
15. Miscellaneous
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and Apple’s Standard EULA form the entire agreement between you and us. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains enforceable. You may not transfer these Terms without our permission.
